Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, is hiring a full-time Caregiver in West Virginia. The role offers $14.75 per hour with On Demand Pay options and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees.

You will support participants with daily living activities, develop meaningful relationships, and help with goals such as budgeting, dental hygiene, exercise, and nutrition. A valid driver’s license is required for some positions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Ability to cook, clean, assist with personal care and stay calm in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with daily living activities and personal care tasks.
• Support participants in achieving developmental goals such as budgeting, dental hygiene, exercise and nutrition.
• Build meaningful relationships and promote participant independence within waiver or group home settings.
