Job summary

Sevita REM West Virginia is seeking a compassionate caregiver to support individuals with developmental disabilities in day and overnight shifts. You will assist with personal care, daily living activities, nutrition, and community participation in group homes and waiver homes.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; six months of human services experience preferred. A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required in some positions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Ability to assist with personal care and daily living activities; patient and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal care such as eating, dressing, bathing and toileting.
• Support participants with daily living activities and community participation.
• Assist with budgeting, dental hygiene, exercise and nutrition goals where appropriate.
