Meadowview of Johnston, a Cassia community in Johnston, IA, is hiring Caregiver (CNAs, HHAs, or PCAs) to join our team and help residents with daily living activities and medication administration. This is a great opportunity to grow nursing aide experience in a welcoming senior care setting.

As a Caregiver at Meadowview of Johnston, you will join a team of professional caregivers and contribute to residents' lives.

Qualifications

• Previous Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), Personal Care Attendant (PCA), or CMA experience is required.
• Med passing experience.
• A passion for geriatric care.
• Strong interpersonal and social skills are vital.
• Good customer service instincts when interacting with family and visitors.

Responsabilités

• Help residents reach and maintain the highest level of independence while assisting with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the RN per individualized care plan.
• Take and record temperature, BP, weight, pulse and respiration; report changes to the nurse.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition to the supervisor.
• Assist with personal care and medication administration as needed.
• Perform additional tasks as required.
