Job summary

Meadowview of Clive, a Cassia Community, is seeking a Part-time Caregiver to join our team in Clive, IA. You will assist residents with daily living and medication administration, working evenings or nights in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Starting wage is $17.34 per hour, or $18.34 per hour with Med Aide certification. We value collaboration, growth, and compassionate care for our senior residents.

Qualifications

• 1 year Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Attendant (PCA) experience required.
• Must be Med Aide certified.
• Memory care or dementia experience.
• A passion for geriatric care.
• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
• Ability to work a consistent work schedule.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Help residents reach and maintain the highest level of independence while assisting with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed; report changes to the nurse.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Observe resident and report changes in physical or emotional condition to the supervisor.
• Assist with personal care including showering/bathing, hair shampooing, nails and foot care, and medication administration.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Meadowview of Clive, a Cassia Community, is hiring Part‑time Caregivers to join the team in Clive, IA. As a Caregiver at Meadowview in Clive, you will help our residents with daily activities including passing medication. We are seeking caregivers who are team players and who are also comfortable working independently.

Position Type: Part‑time

Shifts Available:

• Evening 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Night: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Starting Wage:

• $17.34 / hour
• $18.34 / hour with Medication Manager Certification

Location: 3300 Berkshire Parkway, Clive, IA 50325

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the nurse.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
• Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.
