Qualifications

• 1 year CNA/HHA/PCA experience required.
• Must be Med Aide certified.
• Memory care or dementia experience.
• A passion for geriatric care.
• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
• Ability to work a consistent work schedule.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Help residents reach and maintain independence while assisting with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per care plan.
• Take and record temperature, BP, weight, pulse, and respiration; report changes to the nurse.
• Document services performed on the charting system.
• Observe residents and report changes to the supervisor.
• Assist with personal care including bathing, haircare, nails, and medication administration.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.
