Job summary

Avamere at Sandy in Oregon is seeking a compassionate caregiver to support residents with daily living activities, provide emotional support, and help maintain a safe, clean environment.

This part-time/on-call role requires weekend availability and offers a wage range of $18.58-$24.24 per hour, DOE, along with a benefits package including health insurance, a 401(k) plan, PTO, and bonuses for perfect attendance. Training and CPR/First Aid may be required.

Qualifications

• Prefer experience as a Caregiver in a Memory Care Unit and/or Assisted Living Facility.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain CPR/First Aid Certification during employment.
• Must have the ability to obtain a Food Handler’s Card.
• Experience in electronic medical records documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Mobility assistance and safety supervision for residents.
• Meal prep assistance and maintaining a clean, safe living environment.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
