Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Caregiver Assistant to support residents with daily living, meals, and social activities in our community. You will deliver compassionate care that preserves residents' dignity and independence.

Full- and part-time schedules are available with benefits after 30 days, CNA training, CPR/First Aid, and a team committed to enriching seniors' quality of life.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or one year related experience.
• Willing to complete the Certified Nurse Aide course within six months of hire.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required or willingness to obtain certification.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities; good communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Know the residents you serve, providing care based on their service plans.
• Assist in all aspects of a resident’s daily life, including activities of daily living, meal service, and social engagement.
• Appropriately communicate with branch clinical leadership when a resident’s needs change.
• Knowledge of how to approach and care for residents with dementia.
