Job summary

REM Community Services, part of the Sevita family, is hiring a full-time Caregiver for the Adult Day Program on site during the day shift. A valid drivers license for at least one year is required, with access to a registered vehicle and insurance.

No experience is required as paid training is provided. You will support individuals in daily living activities, foster inclusion, and help them achieve personal and developmental goals while joining a mission-driven healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Valid drivers license for at least 1 year.
• Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
• A clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Successful clearance of background checks.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in reaching personal and developmental goals, from budgeting and nutrition to community activities and recreation.
• Build strong, trusting relationships as a mentor, advocate, and friend.
• Take initiative every day in a role where your ideas and dedication are valued.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication administration, personal care, and outings.
• Promote inclusion by helping individuals engage with their communities and enjoy their favorite events.
