Job summary

REM Community Services, part of the Sevita family, is hiring a full-time caregiver in Ohio. You’ll support individuals with developmental disabilities, assist with daily living activities, and help participants engage in community life.

This role offers $17.00 per hour, a full benefits package, paid time off, and a stable, Monday–Friday schedule (745am–345pm). A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Strong communication, adaptability and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support participants in achieving developmental goals related to budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Build meaningful relationships with the individuals served and empower their community participation.
• Provide compassionate, patient care in a supportive environment.
