Job summary

REM Community Services, a Sevita family member, is hiring a full-time Caregiver for our Adult Day Program onsite in Hiawatha, IA. No experience is required; we provide paid training to help you start a meaningful career in human services and advocacy.

As a full-time Caregiver, you will gain clinical and interpersonal skills while forming life-changing connections with the individuals we serve. Starting pay is $17.75 per hour with on-demand pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license for at least 1 year.
• A clean driving record.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Successful clearance of background checks.
• No experience required; paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in achieving personal and developmental goals.
• Build trusting relationships as a mentor, advocate, and friend.
• Take initiative and contribute ideas daily in a caregiving role.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meals, medication administration, personal care, and outings.
• Promote community engagement and participation in activities and events.
