Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of Sevita, is hiring caregivers to help individuals with developmental disabilities live well and participate in their communities. You will support personal care, daily living activities, and family engagement while fostering independence and dignity.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management.
• Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible.
• Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with personal hygiene and support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants pursue personal goals related to budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
