Job summary

Sky Heart Home Care Services in Fayetteville, NC seeks a compassionate Care Transport Associate (Driver) to safely transport clients to appointments, pharmacies, and community locations. You will assist clients with mobility, maintain a clean vehicle, and coordinate with care staff to ensure timely, courteous service.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety, following traffic laws, and reporting any client condition changes.

Qualifications

• Valid driver''s license
• Must have own reliable transportation
• Prior transportation experience preferred but not required
• Ability to assist clients with mobility
• CPR/First Aid and PASS training required (can be taken through the company)
• Defensive Driving training required (can take through the company)
• Must pass a background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Safely transport clients to medical appointments and other destinations
• Assist clients with boarding and exiting vehicles, including mobility challenges
• Maintain a clean, safe, and functioning vehicle at all times
• Communicate with care coordinators regarding scheduling and client needs
• Monitor and report changes in client condition to staff
• Adhere to traffic laws, safety rules, and company policies
• Provide courteous, patient-centered service to clients and families
• Compensation is based on routes completed and client signatures
