Job summary

Sky Heart Home Care Services in Hendersonville, NC is seeking a compassionate Care Transport Associate (Driver) to safely transport clients to appointments, pharmacies, and community locations. You will be the face of Sky Heart, helping clients with mobility, coordinating with care teams, and maintaining a clean vehicle, with training provided.

You will work to ensure timely, respectful service, while following safety policies and keeping clients comfortable during every ride.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely transport clients to and from medical appointments, errands, and destinations 50 miles or more.
• Assist clients with boarding and exiting the vehicle, including those with mobility challenges.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning vehicle at all times.
• Communicate effectively with care coordinators regarding scheduling and client needs.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Adhere to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies.
• Provide courteous, patient-centered service to all clients and their families.
