Job summary

Cogir of Peoria in Peoria, AZ is seeking Care Partners to provide compassionate, personalized direct care to our residents, assisting with daily living activities while promoting independence, safety and dignity. You will work in a team to create a supportive and nurturing environment for our residents.

Requirements include a High School Diploma, caregiver certification (CNA/GNA/PCA/DCA) or the willingness to obtain, First Aid/CPR certification, and at least 12 months of caregiving experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current caregiver training/certification per state requirements (CNA/GNA/PCA/DCA) or the willingness to obtain.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring.
• Provide compassionate care, engagement, and companionship to promote independence and dignity.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Assist with light housekeeping and maintaining a clean, safe living environment.
• Support open communication with residents, families, and healthcare staff.
