Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Scottsdale, AZ, is seeking Care Partners to provide compassionate direct care to residents, assist with daily living activities, and promote comfort and safety. You will work in a team to maintain a supportive, respectful environment and help residents stay as independent as possible.

Requirements include a high school diploma, state-approved caregiver certification, current First Aid/CPR, and at least 12 months of professional caregiving experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current caregiver training/certification per state requirements (CNA/GNA/PCA/DCA) or ability to obtain.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring.
• Prioritize independence and provide emotional support, engagement and companionship.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Assist with light housekeeping duties and room tidying.
• Promote open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents and staff.
