Bethesda Senior Living Communities in Carrollton, TX is seeking a dedicated Care Partner for full-time shifts (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am) to provide compassionate care for residents in assisted living and memory care.

You will support daily living activities, monitor residents, document changes, and work with health services staff to ensure safety and dignity while fostering a warm, respectful environment.

Competenze

• Interpersonal skills to communicate with residents and staff.
• Must show compassion and genuinely care for the elderly and disabled.
• Must be knowledgeable of SDS sheets on hazardous materials and guidelines.
• Must be able to work independently and prioritize workload as emergencies arise.
• Ability to work in stressful situations with residents, families, visitors, and other staff.
• Must maintain a current driver’s license and comply with auto policy requirements.
• Demonstrates a SERVANT heart and attitude by following our Mission Statement.

• Takes vital signs and weighs residents.
• Documents changes and unusual occurrences.
• Schedules doctor appointments as needed.
• Admits new residents per community policy.
• Assists with showers, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Assists with activities of daily living as per care plans.
• Cleans up after incidents promptly while protecting resident dignity.
• Assists residents who have fallen ensuring safety and comfort.
• Escorts residents to dining room as needed.
• Picks up and transports laundry to laundry room.
• Sorts, washes, dries, folds, and hangs laundry per procedure.
• Returns clean laundry to resident apartments.
• Assists in serving meals and beverages and taking orders.
• Answers call lights with patience following guidelines.
• Listens to residents and follows up with staff on concerns.
• Makes rounds to ensure safety and provide assistance.
• Calls Health Services Director/doctors/families for changes in condition.
• Attends required meetings and training sessions.
• Maintains confidentiality of residents’ information.
• Communicates positively with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Provides tours to potential residents and families.
• Maintains professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ensures excellent customer service and adequate daily meal service coverage.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
