Job summary

Meridian Senior Living is hiring a Caregiver/Resident Assistant to support residents with daily activities and daily living tasks. You will provide compassionate care, monitor conditions, and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a community setting.

The role requires respect for residents, good communication skills, and the ability to maintain detailed care records while ensuring safety and dignity in all activities.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent and complete required state training.
• Must have compassion for elderly and desire to work with them.
• Must be able to work well in a team and independently.
• Must communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the public.
• Must be honest, fair, dependable and respect privacy and confidentiality.
• Must meet health requirements and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care assisting residents with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility and incontinence care.
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes in residents' conditions.
• Interact effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the public.
