Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent and complete training as required by State regulations.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public.
• Must meet health requirements and pass background check.
• Certification as a home health aide is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care assisting residents in daily activities: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Keep proper care records and report changes in residents’ conditions.
• Interact effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public.
