Cogir Senior Living is seeking a considerate Care Partner to provide compassionate, personalized direct care to residents and support activities of daily living while promoting comfort, safety, and dignity. You will work in a team setting to create a nurturing environment and uphold residents' privacy and independence.

The role emphasizes engagement in life enrichment programs, strong communication with families and healthcare teams, and adherence to safety protocols in a community setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Caregiver training is a plus.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.
• At least 12 months of experience in a professional caregiving setting.
• Memory care experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset.
• Attention to detail and patience.
• Willingness to participate in weekend rotation.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring, as needed, while adhering to community protocols, licensing regulations, and guidelines for resident and employee safety.
• Prioritize independence and emotional support for residents through compassionate care and companionship.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Assist with light housekeeping duties, such as making beds and tidying rooms.
• Promote open communication between healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
