Job summary

EVORAA HOLDINGS LLC is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to support a safe environment and assist in adjusting program routines. The BHT answers clients' questions and assists in adjusting program routine, reports changes in condition, and supervises clients with emphasis on safety and wellbeing.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, experience in substance abuse or mental health preferred, and a valid Georgia driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience in substance abuse and/or mental health preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license with no major violations in past five years.

Responsibilities

• Records inventory log of personal belongings and valuables; keep tickets in safe.
• Completes lab requisitions per protocol.
• Monitor clients continuously; log whereabouts and rounds.
• De-escalate AMA and client problems.
• Attend staff meetings as scheduled.
• Maintain clean work areas and proper waste disposal.
• Ensure continuity of care with shift handoffs and logbooks.
• Provide emotional support and refer clients to therapy staff as needed.
• Complete paperwork neatly and timely.
• Communicate with staff to promote quality client care.
• Observe safety and report maintenance issues.
• Maintain professional demeanor and confidentiality.
