Job summary

Banyan Treatment Centers in Cathedral City, CA is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to provide essential peer and operational support to patients during recovery. You will help ensure patient safety, monitor the facility, and collaborate with care teams.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, this on-site role is PRN with 12-hour shifts, offering meaningful work in a nationally recognized addiction and mental health care provider with a broad network and telehealth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or higher.
• Valid DMV record for the last 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Preferred: associate's degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients and facility grounds; conduct safety checks.
• Perform UDS and pregnancy tests; report vital signs.
• Provide emotional support and refer concerns to therapy staff.
• Coordinate patient transport, group activities, and discharge prep.
