Job summary

Project New Generation LLC in Glendale, AZ is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our healthcare team. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in behavioral health or healthcare preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and supervision to patients in a behavioral health setting.
• Monitor patient behavior and report changes to staff.
• Maintain a safe, clean, structured, and supportive environment.
• Assist patients with daily living activities as appropriate.
• Support therapeutic activities and structured programming.
• Use de-escalation techniques when interacting with distressed patients.
• Document patient observations and activities accurately and timely.
• Assist nursing staff with patient safety checks and other duties.
• Follow facility policies, safety guidelines, and confidentiality requirements.
• Maintain professional boundaries and respect for patients.
