Job summary

Redefining the Future Network (RTFNetwork) is seeking a reliable Driver to transport clients to appointments, programs, and services in Baltimore, MD and surrounding areas. The role emphasizes safety, confidentiality, and compassionate service aligned with our mission and values.

Responsibilities include safe driving, pre- and post-trip inspections, maintaining transportation logs, and coordinating with clinical staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Maryland driver's license with a clean driving record.
• 2+ years driving experience preferred; healthcare/behavioral health transport a plus.
• Able to pass background check and drug screening.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds for mobility support.
• CPR/First Aid certification, or willing to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport clients to and from scheduled appointments and activities.
• Ensure client safety and well-being during transit per laws and policies.
• Maintain professional, respectful environment during transport.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Communicate scheduling changes, delays, or incidents to supervisor.
• Assist clients with entering and exiting the vehicle.
• Maintain accurate transportation logs with pickup/drop-off times.
• Follow HIPAA confidentiality protocols and attend trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
