Job summary

The State of Maryland is seeking a full-time contractual Medical Assistance Transportation Driver. This position involves providing transportation for Medical Assistance eligible clients to and from medical services, including those who may be aged, physically or mentally ill, or developmentally disabled.

Applicants should have at least six months of experience operating vehicles for transport and valid licensing requirements. Positions may involve flexible hours including early morning, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience operating vehicles transporting passengers.
• Possession of a valid Class C non-commercial driver’s license.
• Current certification of CPR and first aid training required.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation for clients to and from medical services.
• Travel to all Worcester County Health Department sites.
• Work early morning, evening, weekend, and holiday hours.
