Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to read, write and understand and follow oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clean, safe environment by cleaning kennels, walls, windows, and flooring; sanitizes as required.
• Provides food and water; monitors signs of illness and reports concerns.
• Assists with identifying adoptable animals with tags, collars, and cage cards; supports adoption readiness.
• Gives exercise to animals and aids in check-in of new animals.
• Works with colleagues, volunteers and the public; maintains storage areas and humane treatment.
