Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Willingness to learn medical procedures and protocols.
• Ability to clearly explain discharge instructions and recovery expectations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stock of animal care items (food, treats, toys).
• Deliver feedings, outdoor exercise, and in-kennel enrichment for patients.
• Provide clinic yard, walks, playgroup, and enrichment.
• Ensure cleanliness of kennels, bowls, linens, toys, and crates.
• Follow proper cleaning procedures to mitigate disease risk.
• Animal care dishes, laundry, and other assignments as requested by shift leads or management.
• Contribute to overall cleanliness of clinic spaces and waste removal.
• Follow feeding plans, weight and symptom monitoring, and report status.
• Restrain and assist with medical procedures, surgeries and exams.
• Collaborate with Animal Care Leads to advance animal welfare.
