Job summary

BallyCara in Scarborough, Australia, is seeking qualified Personal Care Workers for casual shifts in residential aged care. You’ll provide dignified personal care, support daily living, and help residents maintain independence with compassion and respect.

Qualifications

• Essential qualification: Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing/Aged Care) or equivalent.
• Experience in aged care is preferred.
• Commitment to person-centred care and quality.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care with dignity, kindness and respect.
• Supporting residents with daily living, mobility and meals.
• Encouraging independence, choice and participation.
• Building positive relationships with residents and their families.
• Recognising and responding to changes in residents' wellbeing.
• Working collaboratively with nurses and the broader care team.
