BallyCara in Scarborough is seeking reliable, caring Housekeepers to join our Residential Aged Care team. This casual position offers a path to permanent employment for the right fit, and you’ll help create a clean, safe, welcoming environment for residents and staff.

You’ll perform room and communal area cleaning, assist with laundry, follow infection prevention practices, and contribute to a community where people feel at home.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or housekeeping.

• Organised and able to manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms and communal areas.
• Vacuum, mop, dust and sanitise.
• Clean bathrooms, offices, kitchens and shared spaces.
• Support in-house laundry duties.
• Remove rubbish and replenish supplies.
• Follow infection prevention and control practices.
• Use cleaning equipment, PPE safely.
• Respond to resident and staff requests.
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns.
