Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of customer service experience required.
• 2 years of professional office/healthcare experience preferred.
• CHAA certification preferred.
• CPI training maintained annually; 90 days required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and families with a compassionate approach.
• Collect demographic information to ensure EHR integrity.
• Identify network coverage and verify benefits/pre-certifications.
• Educate patients on legal, ethical, and compliance documents.
• Explain financial obligations and prepare estimates for co-pays and balances.
• Ensure MSPQ, IMM, ABN, and Non-Coverage checks are completed.
• Maintain Epic queues and departmental dashboards.
• Adhere to policies and participate in meetings and process improvements.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families during stress.
