Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Woonsocket, RI seeks an Activities Aide to assist in developing and implementing engaging, therapeutic recreational programs for residents in a skilled nursing facility.

Under the guidance of the Activities Director, you will lead group events, provide one-on-one companionship, and help maintain a vibrant community while enhancing daily quality of life for rehabilitating and long-term residents.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Prior experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead daily group activities.
• Transport residents safely to activities.
• Set up and tear down activity spaces after events.
• One-on-one companionship and bedside activities.
• Encourage participation and social interaction among residents.
• Record daily attendance and activity preferences.
• Monitor mood/physical changes and report to staff.
• Maintain inventory of recreational supplies and equipment.
• Assist with coordinating special events and celebrations.
