Job summary

Asteri Behavioral Treatment Center seeks a part-time Behavior Technician to support children with autism and other developmental disabilities in the Coachella Valley and surrounding areas. Training is provided, with mentorship from clinical staff to develop ABA skills.

You'll work 1:1 with clients, implementing treatment plans, collecting data, and communicating with families. A reliable vehicle and afternoon/evening availability are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Experience with children is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in clients' homes.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, play, self-help, and daily living skills.
• Use positive, evidence-based strategies to support behavior change.
• Collect session data and complete required clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with BCBAs and other clinical team members.
• Communicate professionally with parents and caregivers.
• Participate in ongoing training and team meetings.
