Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess current CNA license in the state where the community is located.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Organized and able to work well with all levels of staff.
• Walk and stand for extended periods; ability to lift 50 lbs.
• CPR/First Aid certified, or willing to become certified within 60 days of hire.
• Represent the community in a positive and professional manner; wear uniform with name badge.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Report incidents and document in the Daily Log and clinical record.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident areas as directed.
• Assist in moving between dining, activities, and rooms.
• Respond promptly to calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Provide emotional support during move‑in transitions.
• Follow confidentiality policies and attend required in-services.
