Description

Pure's Food Specialties is a leading snack food manufacturer. The opportunity is for a Shuttle Driver with a Class A CDL, responsible for moving and spotting trailers between locally owned manufacturing sites. This position involves no over-the-road driving, with home daily and modern equipment provided.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Transport finished goods and raw materials from manufacturing plants to the distribution center.
2. Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues.
3. Spot trailers at manufacturing and distribution sites.
4. Maintain a clean CDL driving record with at least 2 years of driving experience.
5. Work Monday – Friday, with an average shift of 8-10 hours; a 6-day opportunity may be available.
6. Adhere to traffic laws and DOT regulations.
7. Willing to submit to background checks and drug testing.
8. Possess a valid Class A CDL.
9. Work safely and follow safety guidelines.
10. Understand and follow Food Safety Policies.

REQUIREMENTS

• Possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Minimum of 2 years of CDL driving experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and leadership.
• Understanding of FDA guidelines and company policies.
• Basic math proficiency.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
