Job Purpose

The Shuttle Driver Trainee-DOT is responsible for training to perform pickup and delivery of daily routes to domicile drivers and returning empty trailers for reloading at the warehouse.

Responsibilities

1. Train to operate safely and courteously, demonstrating BEK principles in interactions with the public and customers.
2. Maintain cleanliness and overall condition of tractors and trailers.
3. Comply with FMCSA laws and regulations.
4. Ensure trailers and tractors are fueled and maintained.
5. Occasionally complete deliveries to/from the warehouse or shuttle site as needed.

Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or GED preferred.
2. At least 6 months of DOT driving experience required.
3. Valid Class A CDL with Doubles endorsement.
4. Knowledge of FMCSA rules and regulations.
5. Good computer skills and ability to learn internal applications.
6. Ability to work outdoors in extreme temperatures.
7. Ability to lift and move cases weighing up to 90 pounds.
