Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Companion Caregiver to provide in-home services to clients in their residence, offering weekly pay with competitive compensation. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• One year of experience as Companion Care Homemaker/Companion Care Provider preferred.
• Ability to perform tasks professionally and adhere to policies and boundaries.
• Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills.
• Effective in eliciting/providing information with supervisors, coworkers and clients.

Responsibilities

• Provides care such as socialization encouragement and mild exercise.
• Encourages medication reminders for compliance and safety during ADLs.
• Assists with grocery shopping and light housekeeping chores.
• Performs other duties as assigned/necessary.
• Arrives at the client’s home on time and adheres to the shift schedule.

Hourly Pay: $15 - $18 / per hour
Maxim Healthcare is hiring for a Companion Caregiver to provide services to clients in their places of residence.

Responsibilities

• Provides care such as:
  • Providing and encouraging socialization
  • Encouraging a mild exercise program
  • Encouraging medication compliance through timely reminders to take medications
  • Supervising the safety of the client when bathing, toileting, and dressing
  • Assisting with grocery-shopping; and performing light housekeeping chores
  • Assisting with ADLs
  • Performs other duties as assigned/necessary
• Arrives at the client’s home on time and leaves when shift schedule is complete
• Performs all duties in an accurate and timely manner
• Safeguards the client/patient by observing appropriate infection control procedures including but not limited to universal precautions

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• One (1) year of experience as a Companion Care Homemaker/Companion Care Provider preferred
• Ability to carry out tasks in a professional manner and adhere to policies regarding professionalism and boundaries preferred
• Must demonstrate a compassionate nature and possess strong interpersonal skills preferredAbility to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills preferred
• CPR Certification
• Proficiency in the English language is required
• Computer proficiency required
