We are hiring a companion aide for our female client in Hatfield area. No experience is required; full training is available.

Qualifications:

• Be eighteen (18) years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written instructions.
• Be self-directed and work with minimal supervision.
• Dependability, tact, patience, and ability to follow instructions.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to show compassion and empathy toward the elderly, sick, and disabled.

Essential Functions/Areas Of Accountability:

• Operate within the limitations of the individual assignment.
• Provide supervision and companionship activities that promote the client’s well-being. Typically, these do not involve hands-on care such as bathing and dressing.
• Attend to the client's requests promptly.
• Provide companionship, socialization, and light housekeeping services.
• Assist with food preparation if included in the Aide Care Plan.
• Treat clients and families with respect. Maintain confidentiality.
• Accept and fulfill assignments with the Agency. Use judgment in accepting assignments.
• Attend required in-service programs per Agency policy.
