Job summary

Merck Rahway, NJ is seeking a Companion Animal Territory Manager to cover the Rahway area. You will engage veterinary clinics, shelters, and corporate accounts, tailoring discussions to customer needs and promoting the Animal Health portfolio.

You’ll work in field sales with cross-functional teams to execute territory plans, monitor performance, and identify growth opportunities across the portfolio. A background in sales and animal health is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 0-3 years sales experience
• High school diploma with 5 years relevant work experience in sales/healthcare/biotech can apply
• Excellent interpersonal/communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Communicate Animal Health portfolio to customers in meaningful, tailored discussions
• Serve as primary contact for assigned customers and develop account plans
• Drive sales growth through territory strategy and collaboration with partners
• Develop and maintain key customer relationships and understand business models
• Analyze monthly results and manage expenses within budget
