Job summary

Places for People is seeking a Healthy Communities Instructor to deliver engaging health and wellbeing sessions in local communities. The role focuses on running specific community programmes aligned with qualifications and training, ensuring participants feel welcomed, supported and encouraged throughout their journey.

You will monitor progress, complete evaluations and reports, and work with your manager to support participants with needs outside programme parameters, while upholding

Qualifications

• Experience planning, delivering and monitoring structured sessions or programmes
• Experience supporting participants in a community, health, leisure or wellbeing environment
• Experience completing monitoring, evaluation or programme reporting activities

Responsibilities

• Deliver health and wellbeing sessions that support people to lead healthier lives
• Monitor participant progress and complete evaluation/reporting in line with data protection standards
• Promote safeguarding and health and safety best practices and escalate concerns as needed
