Job summary

The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) seeks a Volunteer Services Coordinator III to lead community initiatives supporting the Tarrant County CPS program. You will organize projects, recruit and train volunteers, and raise public awareness while building relationships with local partners.

Role requires travel within the county, strong communication skills, and ability to work with diverse groups.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Experience coordinating community events involving volunteer services or related child welfare work.
• Military occupation(s) that relate to the initial selection criteria may apply.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and support community projects and programs for the agency.
• Coordinate recruitment, selection and training of volunteers.
• Prepare program reports and documentation for partners.
• Provide training, public awareness, and education for staff and external entities.
• Travel within Tarrant County to support programs and events.
