Job summary

Reclamation and Restoration Ministries, Inc. seeks a Research and Evaluation Specialist to support the Ready4Life CVIPI initiative in Baton Rouge and surrounding communities.

You will develop tools, analyze data, and coordinate with police partners to monitor violence trends and outcomes. The role requires a Master’s in a related field, strong quantitative/qualitative skills, and a commitment of 20 hours per month to the collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in research/evaluation methods with criminology background.
• 2–3 years direct experience as a research partner with non-profit projects.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative skills; knowledge of crime-control literature.
• Ability to dedicate 20 hours per month to the program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of the Ready4Life CVIPI strategic plan with timelines, benchmarks, resources, and responsibilities.
• Develop research tools and strategies for data collection and multi-method analysis for monthly Strategy Forums.
• Serve as liaison with Baton Rouge Police Department Real Time Crime Center for dashboard data.
• Research to understand the nature, patterns, and root causes of community violence in target communities and Baton Rouge.
• Provide contractual services at a rate of $650 per day.
• Assist CVIPI team with strategic violence assessments to identify gaps and barriers in services.
