Job summary

ASPCA Community Medicine seeks a Veterinary Technician to support high-volume spay/neuter and preventive care for underserved communities. You will work with CM veterinarians and techs, provide anesthesia support, and assist with out-patient procedures in a compassionate, team-focused environment.

English proficiency is required; bilingual Spanish is strongly preferred. The role emphasizes safety, data entry, and patient care in a dynamic clinic setting with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have current New York State Veterinary Technician License (or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment).
• Surgery/Anesthesia experience preferred.
• English language proficiency required; bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for 35-40 animals per day in spay/neuter surgery.
• Administer injections, vaccines, fluids; monitor anesthesia.
• Enter medical information into digital databases; maintain patient records.
