Job summary

Phoenix Home Care is seeking a Community Talent Consultant to engage with schools, hospitals, and community partners across the St. Louis area. You will connect caregivers and clinicians with meaningful career opportunities, representing the company at events and building a strong local talent network.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, outreach strategy, and proactive recruitment in community settings, with occasional travel and flexible scheduling to support hiring needs.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with local schools, hospitals, healthcare organizations, and community groups.

• Serve as a community ambassador, sharing culture, mission, and opportunities.
• Create and maintain a pipeline of candidates through outreach and partnerships.
• Collaborate with recruiters and hiring leaders to understand current and upcoming needs.
• Generate candidate leads and guide interested individuals through the hiring process.
• Travel throughout the St. Louis area and surrounding communities; some evenings/weekends may apply.

AtPhoenix Home Care & Hospice, we’re looking for aCommunity Talent Consultantto help us grow our workforce throughout the St. Louis area. This is not your typical desk-based recruiting role. You'll be out in the community—visiting schools, hospitals, healthcare facilities, community organizations, career events, chambers, and other local partners to build relationships and connect great people with meaningful career opportunities at Phoenix.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain relationships with local schools, colleges, hospitals, healthcare organizations, workforce partners, chambers of commerce, and community organizations
• Represent Phoenix at career fairs, hiring events, school events, community activities, networking opportunities, and sponsored events
• Develop creative ways to introduce Phoenix career opportunities to potential caregivers, clinicians, and other team members
• Serve as a community ambassador for Phoenix, sharing our culture, mission, career opportunities, and what makes us a great place to work
• Create and maintain a strong pipeline of potential candidates through community outreach and relationship building
• Partner closely with Phoenix recruiters and hiring leaders to understand current and upcoming hiring needs
• Generate candidate leads and connect prospective employees with the appropriate recruiter or hiring opportunity
• Follow up with interested candidates and help guide them through the next steps in the hiring process
• Identify new community partnerships and outreach opportunities that strengthen Phoenix's talent pipeline
• Track outreach activity, relationships, events, candidate leads, and results
• Bring ideas to the table for new recruiting events, partnerships, and creative talent attraction strategies
• Travel throughout the St. Louis area and surrounding communities; some evenings and weekends may apply

• Prior experience in recruiting, staffing, marketing, community outreach, business development, healthcare, or relationship-based sales is preferred — but we will train the right person!
