Job summary

The Villages Community Development Districts seeks a responsible professional to oversee the Community Standards Office. The role focuses on enforcing restrictive covenants, coordinating with the Architectural Review Committee, and educating residents to ensure compliance.

The position requires strong supervisory and communication skills, plus experience with deed restrictions. Travel and public speaking may be involved as part of weekly district board activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; four years related experience preferred.
• Strong supervisory, communication and customer-service skills required.
• Experience with architectural review processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Community Standards staff and coordinate daily activities.
• Serve as liaison between Department and residents; provide excellent service.
• Review Architectural Applications with ARC and coordinate approvals/denials.
• Attend ARC meetings; present and document decisions; educate residents.
• Prepare and track reports, budgets, and monthly compliance metrics.
• Deliver ongoing resident education on restrictive covenants and processes.
