Job summary

Nicholasville Community Center, managed by NJCC SFM, LLC, seeks a Recreational Program Manager to oversee sports and non-sports programs, including leagues, camps, and after-school activities. You will collaborate with program leaders and other departments to successfully run operations.

The role requires coordinating programming, budgets, staffing, and events while expanding revenue opportunities and partnerships. Flexible scheduling, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in recreation, sports management or related field; 3–5 years experience required.
• CPR/First Aid certifications or willingness to obtain within a specified period.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and execute the facility's sport programs, camps, leagues, and tournaments.
• Lend support to other Operations Directors and Coaches.
• Manage ongoing facility schedule.
• Develop programming for various markets (corporate, group, adult/youth/family).
• Develop and manage program budgets.
• Create and drive sales initiatives for leagues/events.
• Generate sales through networking and partnerships.
• Track and report weekly sales totals.
• Oversee all program activities and events.
• Coordinate with third-party partners to maximize revenue and events.
• Hire, train, and motivate staff.
• Attend events and assist other departments as needed.
• Serve as MOD on weekends or during events.
