Job summary

Finray Solar in Maine is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a residential and small business sales team in southern Maine. You will drive key sales initiatives and connect customers with local community solar farms that save up to 20% on energy costs.

You will field-train new hires, coach reps, track KPIs, and push toward ambitious targets while ensuring excellent customer education on the financial and environmental benefits of solar adoption.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential field sales required.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and manage time.
• Experience training and leading others.
• Reliable vehicle and driver's license.
• Approx Hours: 10am-7:30pm (Summers) / 9am - 6:30pm (Winters).
• Days: Monday to Friday, might have some Saturdays (events) OR some managers substitute Monday for Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Field train new hires and coaching in the field.
• Structure and conduct pre-sales day meetings.
• Track KPIs for new representatives to determine potential coaching needs.
• Personally engage with residential and small businesses across the ME territory; meet personal sales target.
• Explain the financial & environmental benefits of solar.
• Meet and exceed sales targets by converting prospects into subscribers.

Responsibilities

• Field train new hires and provide coaching in the field

Requirements

• Previous residential, field sales experience required (energy sector a plus, but not required)
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and manage time effectively
• Experiencing training and leading others
• Reliable vehicle and driver's license
• Approx Hours: 10am-7:30pm (Summers) / 9am - 6:30pm (Winters)

Compensation

• Salary $40,000-45,000 + commission
• Year 1 On-Target Earnings: $150,000+
• Weekly Personal Commissions and Team Bonuses
• Monthly bonuses available
