Job summary

Ampion in Bangor, Maine seeks a Field Sales Enrollment Specialist to drive residential subscription growth for Community Solar. You’ll own the full sales cycle from prospecting to agreement, build local relationships, and help neighbors access savings and sustainability.

The role requires prior sales experience, excellent communication, and strong organization, with CRM tracking and KPI-driven targets. Equity and clean energy passion are a plus; base compensation is 35k with a 100k OTE.

Qualifications

• Experience in previous sales role is required.
• Strategic and self-motivated, with a hands-on approach to market development.
• Clear and confident communicator.
• Exceptionally organized and capable of managing multiple opportunities simultaneously.
• Passionate about clean energy, equity, and expanding access to impactful solutions.
• Experience with community solar, renewable energy, or sustainability initiatives is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive subscription growth through door to door outreach to residential customers.
• Own the full sales process—from networking and prospecting to agreement execution.
• Build local relationships and generate referrals.
• Track and manage sales activity, relationship progress, and campaign performance using our CRM (Salesforce).
• Consistently meet or exceed individual sales goals and team KPIs.
