Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Social Service Worker/Secretary I to provide social service assistance to eligible clients, including food, lodging, clothing, furniture, and financial support. Under supervision, you will interview clients, determine eligibility, prepare records, and refer to community agencies while maintaining strong community ties.

You will also process vouchers and assist with pantry operations to ensure timely aid.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years of experience in a social or public service environment working with the public.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interview clients to determine eligibility for assistance.
• Record clients’ disposition, income, expenses, and history.
• Assist clients in completing applications for assistance and photocopy documents as needed.
• Prepare and process food, clothing, and furniture vouchers for eligible clients.
• Direct clients to food pantries and maintain pantry inventory and disbursements.
