Job summary

The Salvation Army in New Bern, NC seeks a full-time Social Services Program Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations of family services, outreach, holiday programs and EMF components, ensuring compliance and quality client care.

You will supervise staff, train personnel, prepare budgets and reports, build partnerships with community resources, and help provide holistic services to those in need, requiring a Bachelor's degree and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field.
• 4+ years of social services experience with at least 1 year in supervision.
• Bilingual Spanish fluency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and monitor day-to-day operations of assigned social services programs.
• Oversee staff providing direct client services; train, evaluate, and make personnel recommendations.
• Maintain awareness of health, safety, and licensing regulations.
• Review client case files for quality and compliance.
• Coordinate community resources and partnerships for holistic client assistance.
• Prepare and maintain reports, budgets, and statistics for all activities.
