First Step Communities in North Highlands, CA is seeking a Client Support Associate to help monitor and assist clients at the Roseville Road Shelter. Working with a team, you will enforce program rules, maintain safety, and connect clients with resources to help end homelessness.

This full-time, in-person role requires weekend shifts, outdoor environment adaptability, and a valid driver’s license or government ID.

Qualifications

• Ability to get along and work effectively with others.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to walk in uneven terrain.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and facilitate all clients entering and exiting the facility and conduct safety checks.
• Direct activities of clients on campus and maintain rapport to aid resource access.
• Write daily activity logs and incident reports; perform campus monitoring as assigned.
• Distribute meals, receive and store donations, and assist guests as needed.
• Provide conflict resolution and escalate issues to management when needed.
