Job summary

Victoria Daly Regional Council is seeking a compassionate Community Services Support Worker to provide personal, physical and emotional support to aged care and NDIS clients in the community.

You will help with daily living activities, meals, transport and domestic tasks, while building strong relationships with clients, families and the broader team. A current Working with Children’s Card, valid driver’s license and a recent criminal history check are required.

Qualifications

• Experience or interest in aged care, disability, or community services.
• Criminal History Check within 3 months.
• Working with Children’s Card required.
• Current unrestricted Driver’s Licence.
• Current First Aid Certificate (Essential or willing to obtain).
• NDIS Worker Screening Check desirable or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with daily living activities
• Assist with personal care, meals, transport, and domestic tasks
• Support clients’ physical, social, and emotional wellbeing
• Build positive relationships with clients, families, and the team
• Complete reports and maintain accurate records
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment

Job description

• Permanent Part-Time, 25 Hours per week (Monday to Friday).
• Rewarding package includes hourly rate of $32.29 plus superannuation contributions and remote area allowance.
• 6 weeks of annual leave, 17.5% leave loading,10 days of personal leave (pro rata).
